memories

If you are reading this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, please post a comment with a memory of me, or us - even if we don't speak very often. It can be anything you want, good or bad.
When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

The poetry reading during O-week last year. I was in 3rd year, you were in 1st. Is it creepy that I met you before you met me? ;)

Hanging out at the Planned Parenthood booth at Halloween Horrors this year. You offered me salad when I mentioned that I was depressed and queasy (and slightly crazy) and had only consumed a grapefruit that day. You were friendly and funny and fantastic. So much so that you deserve alliteration!

Can I make up memories?

Remember when we travelled back in time to the 1960s and started a band and passed off Beatles songs as our own, before the real Beatles came out with them? And then Paul McCartney called us, and was like, "What the fuck? I wrote that when I was a teenager, how did you get it?" And he was really mad, and we explained and apologized and went forward in time and prevented ourselves from going back in time?

Those were good times.

Can I have more than one? Shit, of course I can...
Drunk off my ass on thanksgiving at your place, we were still able to make some of the nicest music I've ever made. This memory, and that of every time we've sung together, because those are special times. And also making pasta in my uncle's kitchen at midnight when you came to visit in the beaches. We were very classy in our PJs, dancing and singing around the kitchen. Good times.
